WSR^TM (waste and sludge reducer)

WSR^TM (Waste and Sludge Reducer) is a salt tolerant, concentrated blend of naturally occurring beneficial microbes and bionutrient complex to control sludge, NH₃, NO₂, NO₃, TSS and BOD. WSR is used for control of excess organic waste and sludge in lakes, ponds, dams and aquaculture environments.

WSR^TM will reduce the organic bioload within a waterbody by consuming the accumulated sludge layer at the bottom. This layer, which is common in most problem lakes or ponds, is usually composed of dead leaves, grass clippings, animal wastes and other organic matter. If left unchecked it will contribute to the degradation of the waterbody.

Waste and Sludge Reducer is also very good at eliminating offensive odours.

Available packaging

WSR is available in two sizes, 4.5 and 11.5 kg buckets. Inside the buckets, the microbes are either packed in bulk or in convenient 225 gr water-soluable bags, which makes them easy to apply.

An initial application rate of 1-2 kg per surface area is common for most water bodies. This must be followed up every other week with a maintenance application of 1/2 - 1 kg per surface acre to maintain optimum conditions.
