LG SONIC XXL is the strongest algae destroyer available and LG Sound guarantees 100% success in the purpose for which this device is produced : eradicating algae by ultrasonic vibrations.

The special transducer is a waterproof element, which produces sound vibrations in frequencies which are fatal for various kinds of algae, but inaudible and harmless for human beings and (most) animals. The vibrations rip the vacuole (the microscopic cell in which all life functions of the algae are housed) and kills the algae.

The transducer of the LG SONIC XXL is submerged, about 12 cm below the surface, and mounted under a special float which blends easily into the aquatic environment. Because of the way the transducer is positioned, the sound waves will be reflected by the water surface.

The range of this model is up to 400 m for blue-green algae and up to 150 m for other roaming algae.

The LG Sonic XXL plus units are new in the range of products and have a longer range (186 m), a stronger and brighter signal which makes them more efficient in the algae inhibition and as a major advantage, work on solar panels and low power (around 13 W).
